The religious right certaintly has been busy in Georgia this week. On Monday, the State Senate passed legislation that would create Bible study classes in the state’s public schools. The Georgia House of Representatives has passed a bill that would authorize courses on the Bible to be offered as electives in the state’s public schools. On Monday, the Senate passed the same bill. It is now on it’s way to Gov. Sonny Perdue for final approval.

A group of anti-science crusaders in Kansas have sponsored a billboard criticizing evolution. The billboard is the focus of a story in today’s Larwence Journal-World.
